Today we attended a seminar about education of children in this country. I know what you are thinking. Alia is not even a year old and you are thinking about schooling???? Well, considering how insanely complicated it will be for us to find a way to get the kind of schooling that is right for our child(ren), we should have started thinking about it 10 years ago.

How do you educate a child who has Norwegian and German parents, in a country that has one common language and many others depending on where you live, when the best options for schooling (whether in an international school system or homeschooling) are all from America? If anybody has a good answer for this question, this very discouraged mother would be very grateful.

I know that we do have more that 5 years to think about this and that the Lord will show us in time what is right for Alia, but today it just seems like a very high mountain to climb.

So glad we only have to walk one day at a time!
