old and new

You know what is getting really old here? Rain!!! It has been raining so much lately, it is not fun anymore, especially not with a little girl that gets bored really easily in the house and just wants to be outside... Today Erlend got caught in the rain when he was out on the bike - he was so soaked when he came back, he had to change his clothes outside the house because he would have brought a whole swimming pool inside if he wouldn't have.... anyways, but enough complaining...

You know what is new in town? A supermarket!!!
Now if this supermarket would have been here when we moved here, we would probably not have been very impressed, it would have just been a normal or smaller supermarket as we know them from Europe.

But after 5 months of living here, it was so nice to go shopping there. They have quite a bit of imported stuff and I know this might sound pathetic, but at some point I almost cried a bit because I was so happy. Funny how small things that remind you of home can matter so much all of a sudden.

It has been a bit of a tough month with sickness and homesickness, so this is just what we needed - thank you, Lord!
