birthday and blessing

It was Alia's birthday last week and we got to celebrate with a bunch of family which was awesome, especially considering that having lots of cousins, aunties, uncles and grandparents at her birthday parties won't be the norm for this little girl. There were waffles, chocolate cake and lots of pretty clothes as gift for her. Needless to say she had a blast!

 She even got her own individual cake made by her cousin. Blowing out the candle was one of her highlights of the evening, so much that we did it a few times, just for fun :-)

 While the older kids went outside with Erlend to grill some marshmallows, inside there was always somebody willing to cuddle these two bundles of joy

 I know she has a funky hairstyle, but since her special Tante Sa styled it the day before, I was not allowed to change it.

On Sunday Erlend got to share in church about our future plans
