some hopping and jumping

My parents-in-law are redoing their kitchen (can't wait to see the finished room!) and today we went to see the new flooring that had arrived. It has a seriously cool chess-boardy-kind of pattern on it and we (people who will remain unnamed but are at the ages of 71, 61, 34, 28, 26 and 25) spend some time hopping and jumping on it to see who could jump only touching the white squares or who could jump over the most squares and so on. I have to say, it was fun! :-)
